The sintering process of alumina production is discussed in this paper. Desilication is not only the bottle neck working process in alumina production, but also is the main factor of energy consumption in the sintering process. The technical condition was optimized though processed the pre-desilication, indirect heating and continuous desiliconisation and depth- desilication. The technology and economic index of desilication in the sintering process was improved. The efficiency of desilication was increased and the entrance of vapour and the using of calcium hydroxide was decreased. The density of the alumina of decomposition surpasses 5g/l. The equipment productivity of sintering process has the new breakthrough.At the same time, the gas consuming of desilication, vapour were decreased and the labor intensity was reduced. Though the main craft research and the production of practical application,the development direction of the Second Alumina Refinery in desilication was proposed . The target was deflnituded and the energy conservation was achieved. The sustainable development of alumina production can be come true. |
