Research On Dynamic Behavior Of Belt Conveyor Starting And Breaking Stage

Belt conveyor is an important equipment of bulk materials, which is widely used in coal, metallurgy, factories, mines, ports and other fields. Usually belt conveyor is designed with a static design method, which ensures the reliability of belt conveyor run-time by increasing the safety factor.But it is not enough to consider the static characteristics in design, selection and use of belt conveyor.In many cases, the dynamic analysis is often the viable key to determine the technology reasonable, safety, reliable, economically of belt conveyor. In this paper, multi-body dynamics simulation software RecurDyn established a model of belt conveyor. Analysed dynamic characteristics of belt conveyor in the starting and braking stage.Analysed the impact of dynamic characteristics of belt with the different time of starting and braking, the speed of belt, and the arranged distance of rollers. It shows that this simulation method is feasible, and puts forward some suggestions for the design and use of belt conveyor.
