| Phthalocyanines (Pcs) complex, which are capable of including more than 70 metallic and non-metallic ions in the ring cavity, have attracted considerable interest for many decades because of their remarkable electronic and optical properties, these properties make it suitable for a wide range of applications, Phthalocyanines are not only as classical dyes in practical use but also as modern functional material scientific research. Based on this, several metal-free and metallophthalocyanines substituted with different types were synthesized in this paper through"liquid state method". These compounds were studied on properties.Synthesis and characterization: three precursors for the synthesis of metallophthalocyanines were obtained by nucleophilic reactions, the precursors are 4-( 5-(phenylamino)methyl-8-quinolinoxy)phthalonitrile ,4-( 5-[(4-chlorophenylamino)methyl]-8-quinolinoxy)phthalonitrile ,4-(4-(bis(4-nitrophenyl)amino)phenoxy)phthalonitrile, and they were characterized by Elemental Analysis, IR, 1H NMR. three series of substituted metallophthalocyanines (11 kinds) were synthesized through"liquid state method": 2, 9, 16, 23-tetrakis(5-(phenylamino)methyl-8-quinolinoxy)-free phthalocyanine,2, 9, 16, 23-tetrakis (5-[(4-chlorophenylamino)methyl]-8-quinolinoxy)-free phthalocyanine , 2, 9, 16, 23-tetrakis(5-(phenylamino)methyl-8-quinolinoxy)-metallophthalocyanines , 2, 9, 16, 23-tetrakis (5-[(4-chlorophenylamino)methyl]-8-quinolinoxy)-metallophthalocyanines, 2, 9, 16, 23-tetrakis (4-(4-(bis(4-nitrophenyl)amino)phenoxy))-free phthalocyanine, they were characterized by Elemental Analysis, IR,UV-vis spectra and mass spectrum. So far 3 kinds of precursors and 11 kinds of phthalocyanines had not been reported.Study on properties: The spectra of 8-quinolinoxy series compounds were investigated in this dissertation, The results indicate that the element analysis, mass spectra, IR, UV-vis and 1H NMR were consistent with the proposed structures of these Pcs. The effects of concentration, solvent, metal ion and substituent on the absorption of Q band was discussed in detail using UV-vis spectra. it was found that concentration had significant effects on UV-vis absorbance intensity but no position change; oxygen-containing ligand groups solvent and phthalocyanine occurred coordination so thatλmax red shift; The impact of central metal ion obeys centain rule, as the atomic number of metal ion increasing, the red shift of the absorption peak was observed, and the order of red shift is Co(II) |
