1. In recent years, more and more attention has been attached on chiral stationary phase (CSP), and much efforts have been devoted to the development and application of new stationary phase. Helical polymers, such as poly(triphenylmethyl methacrylate) (PTrMA), which is a typical representative, have been used as CSP for high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) and many racemates have been isolated on this CSP. Our team have synthesized Poly- (S)-4,4,4- triphenyl -1 - butene oxide (PTPBO) and demonstrated that PTPBO had stable helical conformation. In this paper, PTPBO was coated on the surface of chromatogram carrier and then packed in the chromatographic column. 17 packed columns were maked. The carrier, column length column temperature have an ifluence on isolation ability of the chromatographic column. By selecting suitable carrier, column length and column temperature, some racemates were seperated by PTPBO CSP, In order to further demonstrate the function of chiral recognition and isolation of PTPBO, we packed polyethylene glycol in the column to substitute PTPBO as stationary phase .as being expected, polyethylene glycol-packed column had not any chiral recognition and could not seperate any racemate.2. The chiral packed columns were used in environmental samples and liquor analysis. Studies show that packed columns have higher sensitivity with simple operation and faster analysis speed for the above analysis. In order to further expand the application of PTPBO, we used the dynamic method to coat PTPBO on the inside surface of capillary column as CSP. The chromatographic performance of the capillary column is currently under study.3. 6,6,6-triphenyl-1,3-hexadiene and 2-methyl-6,6,6-triphenyl-1,3-hexadiene were synthesized via Wittig reaction. The factors affecting reaction were discussed and the optimum reaction condition was found. The dienes will be used to provide materials to future research. |
