Black electrically conductive material was formed on silk substrate by copper compound complexing with polar amino acids of silk. The effects of reagent concentration, reaction time, liquor ratio and pH value on the experiment were studied. The optimum process was obtained through a series of reaction:pH of solution=3, consentration of copper ions was 9%, liquor ratio was 1:50, reaction time was 2.5 hours. Under this condition, the electrically conductive properties of the treated silk fibers was the best. And the effects of the technological conditions on the weight gain of silk fiber were studied. It was found that the electrical conductivity of silk had good electrically conductive properties, and good electrical conductivity effect could be obtained under acidic conditions, and the distribution of copper sulfide was more even. Treated silk fibers remained the original good wearability, and the strength had no distinct decrease. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope photos showed that fiber surface was evenly covered with a layer of black material, copper sulfide crystal. Moreover, silver electrically conductive silk was prepared using silver plating method. The effects of various factors on coating thickness and volume resistivity of silver electrical conductive silk was analyzed. The mechanical properties of fibers, fiber surface of the material structure and state respectively, washing performance, durability of electrically conductive fibers were measured by fiber strength tester, X-ray diffractometer and scanning electron microscope. The results showed that fiber surface was coated with a layer of metallic silver. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope photos showed that metallic silver uniformly distributed on the fiber surface, and the desired results were achieved. The silver treated silk fiber had good washing performance and durability, relative humidity had little effect on it, even in very dry conditions it also had a very good electrical conductivity. It was also found that, after conducting treatment, strength of silk fibers decreased with the amount of Ag+ and ammonia concentration increasing, crystal structure of fiber had no change, which indicated that the surface chemical reaction mainly occurred in the amorphous region of silk fiber.
