Cationic modified polyester containing anionic groups interact with cationic dye containing cationic groups through ionic bonds, easy to dyeing uneven, so the dyeing uniformity was primarily achieved through the retarding dyeing. In this paper, in the presence of eleven kinds of auxiliaries (Cationic Gemini M, MPQ, cationic polymerization S, cationic polymerization L, Cationic surfactants 1227, Nonionic surfactants1815, Anionic surfactants 602B, Anionic Gemini T, amphoteric surfactants BS-12, A material, compound leveling agent SD), the dyeing property of cationic Dyes dyeing cationic dyeable polyester was discussed, and the interaction between dyes and agents was investigated through the measurements of the surface tension and UV-Vis absorption spectroscopic analysis. The results showed that:There were not obvious retarding effects of the conventional cationic surfactant 1227 and cationic polymerization surfactant dyeing modified polyester ; cationic Gemini M used in cationic dye dyeing ECDP fibers had retarding effects, but had few retarding effects of CDP dyeing; amphoteric surfactants BS-12 and anionic Gemini surfactants on cationic dyes dyeing were free retarding effects, can not be used in CDP fabric dyeing; the compound agents of non-cationic surfactants (602B and BS -12) not only had the retarding effects but also were accelerant of the CDP dyeing, therefore not suitable for retarding dyeing of cationic dyes.In the presence of compound leveling agents SD, the initial dyeing rate was effective suppression, meanwhile the agents had significant retarding effects on CDP fabrics dyeing, and didn't affect the final dye-uptake, can be used as a new type of retarding agent of CDP dyeing.Through the selection of Disperse and cationic dyes, the smaller staining with each other could use in PET / CDP blends one bath one-step different colors dyeing. Such as the Disperse Red WF-4S, disperse yellow WF-3R and Cationic Red SD-GRL, Cationic Yellow SD-GL, Cationic Blue SD-GSL dyes.Compound leveling agents SD for PET / CDP blends used disperse / cationic dyes one-bath one-step dyeing had retarding effects for CDP and had leveling effects for PET. The dyeing uniformity was improved and there were good transfer dyeing properties. Finally, it showed that the agents had great influence on the absorptions of dyes, and the absorptions changes occurred in the CMC of auxiliaries. In addition of agents, the absorption spectrum curves were changed and the maximum absorption wavelength was shifted. This change was related to the dye structure. Otherwise, the results indicated that the interaction between surfactants and dyes associated with the dyes structure.
