Training Environmental Interpreters In Nature Reserve

Global environmental problems have become increasingly prominent, people thought about their own impact on the Earth. After World Warâ…¡, countries began to establish nature reserves, and the nature reserves became the symbol of civilization and progress.With the development of tourist industry, environmental interpretation get increasing concern since it's becoming a major non-formal environmental education pathway for visitors at places they visit. Promoting environmental education is one of the main purposes of the establishment of nature reserves. The achievement of this purpose requires a number of high-quality environment interpreters as supports. But now, the domestic research about training environmental interpreters is still blank.The purpose of this study is exploring training for environmental interpreter in nature reserves. Researcher used method of questionnaire to gather opinion from the interpreter of the nature reserve, and analysis the data.This paper is divided into three parts.First part is Introduction, this part introduces the research background, status, significance and planning, and through studying domestic and international papers in the relevant concepts to determine the scope of this study.Second part is the theoretical system. This part explores the theory about training interpreters and experiences in Taiwan and overseas, and establishes the environmental interpreter training system.Third part is the case studies. This part designs the appropriate environmental interpreter training system, through analyzing the actual situation of Hanshiqiao Wetland Nature Reserve.
