| In the system of air pollutants, the gaseous pollutant plays an important part in this system. The majority of Gaseous pollutants are organic pollutants. The strange smell (stinky or incense) and gaseous pollutants can seriously interfere with the daily life of the residents. It also deteriorated people's living environment, and also threat human health and ecological environment. As the laboratory discharge organic gases out of control, recently in some place, it breaks out some serious organic gas poisoning, which makes us aware of the importance of laboratory gas processing.On the basis of reading a large number relevant literature of papers at home and abroad, this study summarizes the purification of formaldehyde gas plasma technology, the basic principles, development trends and problems.Based on the experimental research purposes and experimental conditions, using plasma technology designed to purify formaldehyde and benzene gas pilot program and carry out related experiments. In this study, by three different detection methods-instrumentation analysis, phenol reagent spectrophotometry and gas chromatography to detect formaldehyde, benzene and the organic content of exhaust gas mixture. And experiments have been applied voltage, gas flow rate (or residence time), parameters such as initial concentration of organic waste gas (formaldehyde, benzene) purification efficiency were investigated.The results of experiment showed that plasma technology of organic waste gas purification efficiency of the gas can reach 85%. Especially in processing laboratory low-concentration organic waste gas, the affect of processing is more apparent. Formaldehyde, benzene and other organic gas purification efficiency increases with the applied voltage increases, the increase of residence time; with the initial concentration increases, the gas flow increases. In addition, the experiments were analyzed using gas chromatography purification of benzene and formaldehyde whether the experiment produced intermediates. Experimental results show that the degradation of benzene and formaldehyde in the experiment did not produce other organic gases, and can be seen from the chromatogram of benzene and formaldehyde removal efficiency can reach 85%. The study shows that plasma technology can effectively degrade organic waste gas, for governance and control of organic air pollution laboratory has opened up a new way.The above study results can provide guidance and evidence for the studies of Laboratory fume cupboard organic waste gas purification.it also can the reality applications and has a great significance in engineering applications. |
