In the transportation of petroleum, large amount of oil polluted water will be produced; the oil polluted water pumping into water will destroy Water Environment. The low concentration oily ballast water contains complex polluting substances, which is difficult to be treated effectivelly. To make a deep study and discussion on the environment influence about petroleum, hydrocarbon is, therefore, of great significance to the improvement and perfection of polluted water treatment technique in petroleum maritime industry.The low concentration oily ballast water was taken as target. The strong ionization discharge was used to produce high concentration·OH to treat ballast water, and comprehensive experiment was made. The conclusion was obtained as follows:With the increase of the hydroxyl dosage, the removal rate of petroleum hydrocarbons increased. But it increased slowly when hydroxyl dosage was 200 mL. With the increase of the hydroxyl solution concentration, pH value, the removal rate of petroleum hydrocarbons also increased; it decreased with the increase of the oily initial concentration. Within a range of temperature, the removal rate had a trend of increasing and then decreasing. The water quality of oiliness ballast water treated by·OH was improved.In this paper, the hydroxy was used to kill the microorganisms, such as E. coli, bacillus subtilis, cyanobacteria. It studied on the change of density of alga, coloring matter for photosynthesis after entering hydroxyl solution, then analyzed the reason of the change. When hydroxide radical medicament was 1.35 mg/L, it killed all bacteria of 10~5/mL. The removable percentage of alga was 100% by 1.35 mg/L after 12 h and the removable percentage of chl-a and carotene was about 90% by 1.84 mg/L.The experimental results show that hydroxyl solution produced by strongionization discharge is an innovative, efficient and no secondary pollution method.These works were able to provide theory and technology to the applications intanker oil ballast water treatment, chemical industry, and environmental engineeringindustry and so on.
