At present, the most mine drainage devices in inland are controlled by relays which operated by people, and the states of the devices are watching by man. This method of controlling drain-system has many faults. Such as, the degree of automation is low; the reliability is poor; the quick respond ability is weakly. So this status is not matching the development of digital mine. The automatic drainage system designed in this thesis, which used the embedded micro-controller as the local host computer control system and combined of PC as remote monitoring method, improved the reliability and stability of the job. It has low operating costs and the advantage of easy debugging.At first, the thesis analyzed and compared several of drainage and related equipment according to the actual situation of drainage about a mine, then choused one of a typical form of the drainage system as a model. Second, it studied and demonstrated with the running principle of the underground drainage system, then formulated the underground water level monitoring and pump running program. Based on an integrating of the relate theory of automatic control and sensor applications, it analyzed the key parameters must be monitored and reflecting the characteristics of the drainage system, and proposed methods of monitoring these parameters and the feasibility of these methods.Based on a comprehensive analysis about the microprocessors and real-time operating systems in current, it detailed studied the performance and characteristics of the ARM andμC/OS-II. ARM has the advantages of high-performance and low power costs, andμC/OS-II has the advantages of better portability and lower development costs, so the thesis selected the LPC2220 with the CPU of ARM7TDMI-S as a local control system andμC/OS-II as the real-time operating system. According to the work and request, it designed the system and the hardware interface circuit, and achieved the program code. As the requirements of coal mine development trend, LabVIEW was selected as a host computer monitoring software. The PC on the ground with the underground control system make up of the remote monitoring system. As a result, implementation staff in the ground control room can easily understand the water level in the underground water storage and the drainage status information facilities, also the drainage system achieve "regulation and peak averting the valley" and the unmanned pumping duty. The study will make a certain reference value to the work of production safety, energy saving and digital construction about the coal.
