Research On Mould Pressing Technics For Wood Substitute Packaging Material

With the environmental requirements for packaging had always improved, and the problem in the international trade, the use of wood-based packaging material had been restricted;as the same time,though forest resources'shortage,our country is a large agricultural country, use the crushed aggregates of crops'remainder to mould press materials instead of wood-based packaging material.The property of cotton stalk is close to the wood in most crop stalks,plank molded by the particles has approximative properties with planks which are molded by forest product. Urea - formaldehyde resins was used as the adhesive in present production,there is formaldehyde to evaporate in the plank. According to this situation,use starch as the adhesive in this paper, Main research contents and innovations:(1) Analyze the prototyping principal and process of hot-pressed product which are molded by cotton stalk particles.(2) Design and manufacture moulding die for researching molding parameters.It will combined with hot pressing machine in the laboratory, considering the need of further researchment, the moulding die can be assembled to make different structure and thickness product.(3) Under laboratory conditions, select the main process parameter,conduct the test of molding cotton stalk particles, then determine parameters and analyze effect of parameters to property of mold product.The innovation is discussing process parameter and plank's property when use the starch as main adhesive.The conclusion has guiding significance in hot-press product's process parameter in practical production which use starch and its modified products as adhesive.
