The book on the basis of summing up the home and abroad shearers the current situation and trend applying development of method and designing. Aim Shearer R & D process commonly used in domestic as"the model machine design→the model machine made→the model machine testing→revising designed→bigger made and rack"Which exists that the efficiency and quality of design is low and the term of R & D is long. Take the MG900/2210-WD Shearer which is produced in some domestic coal mine machinery manufacturing enterprises as a object and use some of CAE technology to the design of Shearer applications. And made the following job:Use digital prototyping technology, and applicate Solidworks to set up a library of three-dimensional parts of the Shearer WG900/2210-WD with CAD drawings in strict accordance, and assemble for the whole through bottom-up, then set up the digital prototype of Shearer.Take the kinematics simulation, check the prototype interference of model, and verify the correctness of the initial structural design. In modeling, based on the location of the shearer to determine center of gravity, provide the basis for "Three-machine" selection and the shearer design. In order to further study the reliability of the initial design, Take the Finite element analysis of the key components of Shearer , such as Rocker, an increase in the fuel tank, shaft torque, gear-track wheels, sliding shoes, hydraulic pull bars, pick, etc , and get the cloud of stress and stress-strain data of key parts, analysis the results of finite element and put forward suggestions for improvementResearch shows that the R & D process of shearer as"the model machine design→3-D builds the model→kinematics analysis→finite element analysis→the model machine made→the model machine testing→bigger made and rack"can effectively improve the design efficiency and design quality, greatly short the development cycle ,and save the cost of R & D .
