Study On Drilling Technology Of Fishbone Horizontal Well

Drilling technology of the fishbone horizontal well is a comprehensive drilling technology, which can utlize drilling technology of the horizontal well and the multi-lateral well to improve the recoverability of reservoir. In accordance with reservoir conditions, It can design spatial distribution of wells, increasing the exposed area of the reservoir effectively, increasing the valid drilling footage of the hole, saving drilling investment, making full use of the upper hole to increase oil production integrated, to reach the goal of improving recoverability. Compared with the conventional wells which utilize perforated completion and hydraulic fracturing to increase the production, the fishbone horizontal well has irreplaceable superiority, which is a more effective, scientific and economic reserves employing mode and reservoir development mode. On the basis of the literature research, this article made a brief analysis of the advantages of technology and applications of the multi-lateral horizontal well, combined with the actual situations of drilling field test of Shengli Oilfield fishbone horizontal well. Through theoretical analysis and research methods, formed a fish-bone horizontal well drilling designing technology. The main contents include the general plan designing, casing design and optimization wellbore trajectory design. Through continuous experiment and practice in a timely manner to sum up and analysis, formed a fishbone side of the horizontal well drilling technology and well trajectory control technology, which were the core contents of the fishbone horizontal well drilling technology, effectively guided the design and construction of fishbone horizontal wells. 6 Fishbone horizontal wells, which had been completed in the field test, show that the new technology can improve producing degree of reservoir, utilization ratio of development and recovery of oil and gas reservoir because the production of testing well is over 3 times than ordinary directional well or vertical well. The success of fishbone horizontal well provides a whole new set of technology route in improving comprehensive development benefit of oil and gas reservoir and accumulates precious experience for popularization and application of the technology in the future.
