With the polymer flooding technology having been widely applied in major reservoirs of Classâ… Reservoirs of Sanan area in Daqing Oilfield,the remaining block at present which is suitable for polymer flooding decreases year by year. The backup potence of the oilfield seems deficient,we must seek for other formations to maintain production. Compared with major reservoirs, Classâ…¡reservoirs of Sanan development area has thinner reservoir thickness, lower permeability, and higher heterogeneity. To achieve the production concatenation and sustained production, and to make sure the success of polymer flooding in the first Classâ…¡Reservoirs of Sanan area, we need to make further study on adaptability of polymer flooding, reasonable injector producer distance, flooding pattern, development effect and son on.According to guideline of reservoir classification and associating reservoir deposition feature in Sanan development area, this paper establishes production object for Classâ…¡reservoirs, makes research on layers combination and finds the oil layer for polymer flooding. Based on the original geology knowledge, it makes fine geologic research, makes full use of log information and proceeds optimum research of pattern of well. In view of reservoir characterization of Classâ…¡r eservoirs, it also studies rheological regular pattern of polymer, establishes velocity range and threshold velocity in porous media. According to the need of production, the injection project, injection speed and injection concentrationof polymer flooding for Classâ…¡r eservoirs is studied by numerical simulation. Meanwhile, the production and injection proration of Classâ…¡reservoirs is also researched to forecast displacement characteristics and economic benefit. Through parameter optimization as well as production measures, we can ultimately arrive at design criteria of polymer flooding project.
