| Currently, the research and development for gas generants of non-azide types is a main direction in automotive airbag field. This paper do a theory analysis thoroughly and optimized design earnestly with the nitro guanidine types. the research result is: the Gas Generant made up of nitro guanidine, ammonium nitrate, strontium nitrate ,burst heat is 4203J/g, gas quantity is 0.74L/g. we established a technic index and process of nitro guanidine by a lot of technics experiments, the research result proved that the nitro guanidine propellent can be used in automotive airbag.
