In this thesis, flank milling NC machining for ruled surface blade are studied. Using the non-uniform B-spline method to modeling the blades ,The errors of flank milling for ruled surface have been studied and a new flank milling blade method was proposed, according to the example analysis demonstrates the method has high accuracy, given the five-axis post-processing algorithm,programming and obtain the CNC machining code,and by means of experimental verification.1.Geometric Modeling. Build the blades baseline'control points by the algorithms of non-uniform B-spline curve backcalculation, and encrypted data by positive operators, and completed ruled surface blade,equidistant surface,extended surface,and integral impeller' geometric modeling in the matlab6.5 programming language environment.2. Analysis The Error Appearance. According to The Single-Offset Method derived error appear of ruled surface flank milling;Two of the existing algorithm (The Two Offset Points Methed and The Least Square Method) have been derived,programming language has been used for algorithm,and analysis the reasons for the errors.3. Proposed a new algorithm about flank milling NC machining for ruled surface blades i.e.The Lateral Offset Algorithm. In the basis of analysis error and a new flank milling blades method has been proposed and solve the error too large problem.In addition,analysis and comparison those three algorithms by examples, and proof this calculation method is superiority.4. Post-Processing. Study post-processing for The Beijing Jiaotong University five-axis CNC Machineing Center, programming the post-processing and generation the CNC code.5. Experimental Verification.Adopt the VERICUT software to simulation the process of flank milling ruled surface blades, and use the Beijing Jiaotong University five-axis CNC Machineing Center to complete the experiment machining processing and verify the correctness of the thinking.
