Research And Development Of Base Painting Using On Car Lighting

During the last decade,there have been more and more requirements focus on automobile lighting systems.The quality of lamp reflector has a direct influence on the effect of automobile lighting.Reflector headlights commonly used are parabolic or free-form surface.And the main material is BMC.Before vacuum aluminized,the surface of reflector headlights must be coated with base painting.In China,the base painting used in automobile lighting is mainly dependant on exporting.It is critical to develop home-made base painting due to the expensive price and inconvenient transport of exporting.This paper focused on the research and development of home-made base painting used on automobile lighting system.To develop a new type base painting, which is much cheaper than the exported base painting,and the quality is equivalent to exported base painting.The main work of this paper was divided into 2 chapters:1.In Chapter 2,through analyzing the exported base painting,we obtained the essential information of base painting.According to this,we developed a new type full-coating fluorubber used on gasket,which is much cheaper than the exported base painting,and the quality is equivalent to exported base painting.2.In Chapter 3,we developed a new type of BMC materials used on automobile lighting system,which is much cheaper than the exported BMC materials,and the quality is equivalent to exported BMC materials.
