Sage,(?)emon balm,true tarragon and hyssop served as fragrance vegetables or acrid materials at ancient times.Now we can refine essential oil from them,manufactur floral water and medicine.Experiment results are as follows:1.Fragrance components are extracted by vapor extractio and SFE-CO2 Results manifestation: extraction percentage of SFE-CO2 is significant higher than using vapor extractio;comparison by extraction percentage,true tarragon>sage>lemon balm>hyssop.Orthogonal experiment of SFE-CO2 from true tarragon showing the best extraction technology is Pressure33Mpa, Temperature45℃,Time 1.0h.2.Essential oils are expertised by GC-MS.Sage is expertised 74 kinds of composition,main chemical compositions are 2,6-Octadienal,3,7-dimethyl-,(E),(relative amount is 22.39%), 2,6-Octadienal,3,7-dimethyl-,(Z),(relative amount is 11.91%),6-Methyl-1,5-heptadiene, (relative amount is 7.11%),2-Pentene,3-methyl-,(Z)-,(relative amount is 6.74%),Thujone, (relative amount is 5.74%).Lemon balm is expertised 67 kinds of composition, caryophyllene,.beta.-Pinene,D-Limonene,eucalyptol,and so on.True tarragon is expertised 74 kinds of composition,main chemical compositions is isoelemicin,(relative amount is 46.68%). Hyssop is expertised 75 kinds of composition,main chemical compositions are Cyclohexanone, 5-methyl-2-(1-methyl ethylidene)-,(relative amount is21.60%),Cyclohexanone,5-methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)-,trans-,(relative amount is13.20%),pulegone,(relative amount is7.03%), Phytol,(relative amount is5.03%),Germacrene D,(relative amount is4.59%),1,6-Octadien-3-ol, 3,7-dimethyl-,(relative amount is 4.38%),Cyclohexanol,5-methyl-2-(1-methylethyl)-,[IS-(1. alpha.,2.beta.,5.beta.)]-,(relative amount is 4.31%),and so on.3.Experimental results of bacteriostasis are as follows:inhibition ratio of colibacillus at high density,sage>true tarragon>hyssop>lemon balm;inhibition ratio of staphylococcus aureus, sage>true tarragon>lemon balm>hyssop;inhibition ratio of bakers' yeast,sage>true tarragon>lemon balm>hyssop;inhibition ratio of aspergillus flavus,lemon balm>sage>hyssop>true tarragon.
