| Gear shaving is the main processing means of gear finishing machining,which is now widely used in the fields of smaller modulus gears of automobiles and tractors and machine tool gears.However,it is often appears the "mid-concave" phenomena in the process of gear cutting,affecting the carrying capacity of gear,transmission quality (vibration and noise) and the life.The dissertation made studies on the "mid-concave" phenomena in the process of gear cutting,Based on backlash-free meshing of crossed helical gears theory,the paper analysed main causes and mechanism leading to the mid-concave errors;on the basis of much technology to eliminating "mid-concave profile" of the shaving cutter,it made a precise modification method,and validated the correctness of the profile modification theory.It also validated the feasibility,effectiveness and practicability of the method to solve "mid-concave profile" of the shaving cutter.Based on toolbox of MATLAB,the shaving cutter design and the parameters were used to build the optimization model. However,the paper also built a human-computer interaction interface,gear cutting tool parameterization design and drawing system.Production practice has proved that the production Shaving cutter precision modification method can effectively solve the shaving process "mid-concave profile," and greatly improves the machining precision of shaving gear and the transmission quality of processing.The shaving cutter design parameters that the number of teeth and the helix angle of the optimization shows that the method can effectively improve the shaving cutter and the gear mesh of the overlap factor reduce,the meshing angle,raise the carrying capacity of gear and extend the life of shaving cutter.This article result is widely applied in the mechanical gears manufacturing industry,which will greatly enhance the shaving process processing level,to better meet the needs of the field of gear technology development. |
