In the paper, the author studied the color-change system of CVL, its color-change microcapsule and properties of color-change.The color-change system was consisted of CVL, cetyl alcohol and bisphenol and the best ratio of them was determined in terms of color-change effect. The temperture range of color-change was studied by observation and DSC. IR and XRD analysis were used to research transformations of configurations when the color of the reversible thermo-chromatic composition changed. The mechanism elements of color-change were also studied .The microcapsule was prepared by the method of in-situ polymerization with urea-formaldehyde prepolymer as the exterior membrane and reversible thermo- chromatic system as core material. The exterior appearance was observed by SEM. The diameter and its distributing range were determined by laser diameter analyzer. The author studied the effects of important factors on encapsulating rate, diameter and property after encapsulating. At the same time, heat stability,chemical stability, resistances to solvents were tested. As a conclusion, this experiment won a satisfactory and scientific investigation result.The results of researches proved that the microcapsulation could improve the hot stability , chemistry stability and resistances to solvents. All sorts of microcapsules with different capabilities were obtained by changing reaction conditions. As a result, the new reversible thermo-chromatic material will overcome the long-time dependence on environments and would have excellent performances and prospected applications. |
