Performance Of PTT Blended Leisure Fabric And Costume Development

PTT polymer is short for Polytrimethylene Terephthalate Polymer. PTT has excellent characteristics as a new polymer production.In the area of chemical fiber application,PTT has the integration of nylon's softness(also has good dye fastness),Nitrilon's fluffy(avoid the bad chafing resistance),PET's dirt resistance(also have good handing),in addition of PTT fiber's elasticity,PTT combined with many kinds of fibers' eximious wearability.As an independent fiber from PET,PTT is becoming one of the latest popular high polymer material.In this theme,the PTT staple blended yarn,PTT filament and PTT/PET bi-co yarn all use the high polymer material produced by shell company,and these yarns were knitted to be different style of fabric. According to different requirement of clothes,various of wearability tests were taken to the fabrics.The result was analysed by the fuzzy mathematics,and some advises about the shortage of the fabric were brought forward to guide the production. a) PTT/PET bi-co filament CM800 was blended with cotton to develop knitting jean fabric,the structures include broad rib,double face fabric and twill fabric simulates the denim,in the test this kind of fabric was found to be not perfect in the pilling resistance.In the process of production,the twist can be controled to a reasonable level,in the finishing process, soften accessory ingredient can be added and the surface of the fabric can be gas singed to improve the shortage.b) Blend PTT with wool,viscose,cotton and bamboo fiber by different percentage of PTT,then knitted to plain fabric and test the wearability,in order to find out the superiority of different fabric in different clothes.c) Develop the chine which blended PTT with PET,Spandex, while the fabrics' structure,thickness and weight almost the same,analysis how the percentage of PTT influence fabric's performance.d) Utilize the fuzzy clustering to evaluate every fabric's wearability,analysis the fabrics' superiority when apply in leisure and sports clothes.e) According to the specialize of different fabric,use design software- Illustrator and widely used software named PGM, draw the clothes design picture,and made three series of clothes,in order to inspire the application and spread of new fabric.
