| Carbon Nanotubes as the hot spots in the field of today's nanotechnology research, compareing with several methods of synthesis of carbon nanotubes,the combustion synthesis of carbon nanotubes can provide the necessary carbon and high temperature conditions. V-flame combustion synthesis of carbon nanotubes are a new type of flame patterns.The paper presents the "pyrolysis flames" of V type burner configuration and had the numerical simulation by the commercial CFD code FLUENT and CHEMKIN with CFD code FLUENT of the burning process and analyzed the results.Results of second method of numerical simulation compare with results of experiments,and this method proved is rational and usable.Heating and material synthesis processes in the "pyrolysis flames" are substantially separated functions.Therefore,carbon nanotubes collect at major region of the "pyrolysis flames".V type flame configuration is easy stable and controlled.It may be suitable way to scale up.By numerical simulation the study results will provide guidance and help for the experimentation. |
