| The hardness of Nitriding carbon predicted by theoretic calculating could exceed the diamond. The research on syntheses and properties of carbon nitride materials is interesting for scholars from different countries. Carbon nitride materials with particular properties has been synthesized. The properties such as high hardness, low friction coefficient, excellent wearability and photics properties can provide the profound foundation for the application of carbon nitride materials in many fields. Explosive impact synthesis chemistry is a new technology.The high temperature and high pressure provided by instantaneous blast impact can make complex changes in the material properties.Nowadays, the impact of explosion method has been widely used. This thesis discussed the research situation of Nitriding carbon.Studied the explosive impact synthesis of Nitriding carbon through experiments.Two raw materials dicyandiamide, the mixture of 5-Aminotetrazole and activated carbon powder were blast impacted respectively with dynamite in the experiments, and the detonation product were purified.The purification product was tested and analyzed by the use of FTIR, XRD, SEM and EDX. FTIR showed that crystallites of a C-N compound with little C=N and N-H and haven't founded C≡N.Also the intensity of the C-N peak is far outweigh of the impurities. XRD showed that the target product was maily formed ofα-C3N4,β-C3N4 and a few of CNx phase and graphite-C3N4 phase.There were also unknown structures in the samples so far. SEM showed that there were hexagonβ-C3N4 of micron-grade which were similar to the crystal shape ofβ-C3N4 reported in the materials. EDX showed that the quality ratio of C and N were higher in the two target product than the calculated value. The C and N content of the products wre unevenly distributed, and the impurity content was more in the target product. It does not appear the DTA peak and the weightlessness peak in the DTA and TG curve of the dicyandiamide detonation product.Only to explain that the detonation product in 1000℃is very stable.The influence of pressure and charge density on the product yield were studied.The results showed that the best pressure was 29GPa and density 1g/cm3 when dicyandiamide was explosive impacted. The best pressure was 32GPa and density 1g/cm3 when the mixture of 5-Aminotetrazole and activated carbon powder was explosive impacted. |
