| Chalcogenidometalates have attracted considerable interest, because they are a new type of materials with properties of catalysis, ion exchange, adsorption, semiconductor, photoconducor, photoluminescence, nonlinear optics. Solvothermal reaction is becoming a versatile route to synthesis of chalcogenidometalates. As primary building unit MQ4 or MQ3 through polymerization or coordination assembly to afford a variety of structres of chalcogenidometalate anions, whose couterions are the protonated amine, tetra-alkylammonium or amine complex cation. Based on the purpose to synthesis of new chalcogenidometalates, the major studies of this work are as follows:1. Two derivative of indium telluride, [InTe(teta)]2·2X (X=I(1),Br(2)), were synthesized and the structures have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 and 2 are unusual cationic In-Te compounds ; Two 3D indium chalcogenidometalates (H2TED)3[In10S18](3) and (H2AEP)4In11Te20(4) were obtained in coorespounding amines.2. Three metal complexes with chelating amines [Ni2(teta)3]Cl4?2H2O(5) ,[Ni2(teta)3](NO3)4(6) [Mn(tren)2](HS)2(7) were synthesized and characterized. The structure of compound 7 is an unusual two-dimensional coordination polymer with {[Mn(tren)2]2+}∞cation and HS- anions.3. These compounds were futher characterized by IR, CD spectra and thermal analysis. Thermal stability and chirality of them were also discussed. |
