In the trend of technology and back-to-nature.,develop a hemp contained camouflage fabrics for military use in order to improve the comfort properties. Hemp fabrics are welcomed for its characteristics of natural bacteriostasis,coolness,shielding ultraviolet,preventing static.However,they are coarse,bad elastic and easy to wrinkle.So, in this research ,cotton,hemp,nylon66 were used to produce blended yarn to make use of each others advantagesIn the thesis,eight sorts of hemp,cotton and nylon66 fiber were prepared with different blended ratio(60/40/0,50/40/10,40/40/20,30/40/30,20/40/40,10/40/50,0/40/60,0/100/0 in hemp/cotton/nylon66,respectively). Use several modern testing instruments and investigate the mechanical properties, yarn evenness, regain, dye deepness and distribution of fiber in yarns. The result showed that, the performance of low-count blended spinning yarn is affected by proportion of hemp. There are two break points, the change of proportion of hemp do not affect obviously the properties of blended spinning yarn when the proportion of hemp is less than 10%. However, when the proportion of hemp is up to 30%, the character of hemp in the blended spinning yarn will become more and more clear. Therefore, choosing the proper blended ratio according to the fabric style in designing and producing hemp production is necessary.Then given an orthogonal test design using five factors as follows:warp yarn, weft yarn, density of warp, weave, blank list. Weaving fabrics on the basis of designed parameters. Wearing performances of the fabrics such as physical and mechanical properties ,fuzzing and pilling , moisture regain and overall moisture management capacity were tested, then were chosen as evaluate index. According to analysis of range and variancet,conclusions can be drawn that warp yarn is the most important factors to wearing property of the fabric. Weft yarn is H/C/N(20/40/40), density of warp is 277 thread/10cm, plain weave will obtain better performances. Based on the research above, developed eight types of camouflage fabrics, which use cotton as warp and blended yarns(60/40/0,50/40/10,40/40/20,30/40/30,20/40/40,10/40/50,0/40/60 , 0/100/0 in hemp/cotton/nylon66,respectively)as weft. Physical and mechanical properties, thermal-wet comfort properties , crease recovery angle and fabric pilling property . dye fastness , ultraviolet protection property and NIR camouflage performance were tested to contrast with cotton fabrics;According to testing result,a method of gray clustering of performance multiple evaluating was used .Analysis conclusions can be drawn that fabric use H/C/N(40/40/20,30/40/30,20/40/40)as weft can meet the military need and have better wearing performance ,the final products can instead of cotton fabric and will be competitive in the future.
