The chock is one of the key and important parts of the rolling mill. It has a long machining duration and the accuracy of the machining is very high. Since the chocks are in great demand in the market. And the quality requirement is more and more strict and the delivery time is much shorter than before,the quality and machining efficiency become very important. To improve machining efficiency of all the large modern CNC(Computer Numerical Control) machine tools in all the large companies and to solve key technology problems of manufacturing large parts from Nc process to Nc machining have become a hot point to research.This article makes a detailed analysis on CNC manufacturing problems of chock to find some technology reasons which influence quality and machining efficiency and then study these CNC machining key technologies including creating CNC process, measuring, CNC machining programming and verifying. The thesis including: First, to creat a system of building type chocks'CNC machining process including CNC programing by analysis of chock's structure, size and manufacture demand is to reduce preparative time for technology process and make datum standardization and to improve efficiency and veracity for Nc code programming . Second , designing and creating the clip of type chocks is to reduce times of fixing and assistant time and to improve precision. Third, by using online-measure techonogy , selecting hardware and creating measure plan , changing ordinary measure style to control assistant time and improve machining efficiency. Fouth, reducing time of changing tools and rotating worktable and moving rapidly is the aim by machining-step optimization for CNC machining chocks. Fifth, tool-path and machining parameters optimization by finding effective goal of efficiency, cost and quality. Sixth, creating a simulation system of CNC machining chocks and verify CNC code to assure the success of CNC machining.Research on Key Technologies for CNC Machining Chocks solves techonogy problems of machining chocks and improves efficiency and quality and reduce cost. It gives scheme and method of other big parts in heavy machining field. Using the production is able to improve efficiency of large machine tools ,and solve techonogy problems and buildup competition power of company in the overseas and the internal.
