| With the development of industry, the pollution of sulfur dioxide is becoming worse and worse. Coal enterprises, especially those thermal power plants, account for a significant proportion of the sulfur dioxide emissions. Thus, flue gas desulphurization (FGD) on a thermal power plant has become an imminent task. As the cost of FGD equipment's construction accounts for a rather large part of the total investment of a thermal power plant, whether to equip with the FGD equipment or not, and how to build that is becoming the focus of controversy. To solve this problem, we must adopt a scientific method--economic evaluation analysis, to analyze each method or technology qualitatively and quantitatively, in order to make the right decision.This paper first presents a necessary survey of the status quo of China's thermal power plants'FGD, the existing problems and the policy background of it, which shows the necessity for China to reconstruct its FGD equipment. Then, the paper introduces the six main technical means of thermal power plant's FGD and some applications of them at home and abroad, with summery of some advanced experience. Through a careful factor analysis of the new flue gas desulphurization unit and the transformation of the existing gas unit, the author finds the weight of the transformation factor. The paper then analyzes the indicators and methods of domestic and foreign FGD economic evaluation, and gets the proper indicators and methods for China to improve its status of that. By the end of this paper, the author studies two examples of FGD projects on one-hundred years of electricity by using the so-called economic evaluation method put forward by this paper. Through technical and economic analysis of these two options as well as comprehensive evaluation, it become clear that the most suitable plan is the limestone - gypsum wet desulfurization process.Through the economic evaluation analysis of the various FGD technologies and the study of examples of the one-hundred years of electricity, we get a lot of commonness and regularity of the data and content in them, and successfully imply them in practice, which will of course contain some value for this field's economic analysis. |
