Rolling shear is a kind of advanced plate cutter, which is mainly used for specified lengths cut. Nowadays, it has been initiatively applied to domestic plate production, but there are some problems in domestic researching of this technique, especially on parameters confirmed of the up blade mechanism. So, this thesis considers up blade machine of rolling shear as studying object, and it makes ideal trace and size design and kinematics & dynamics simulation analysis of rolling shear, it can provide preferences for reforming and producing domestically to some extent.According to pure rolling theory, the ideal trace is designed by using MATLAB software, in order to let shear motion close to pure rolling state and improve the cutting quality. It also can enable motion stable and reduce vibration.This paper uses optimization methods to make trace synthesis of rolling shear according to ideal trace. Based on meeting the trace error, considering bars and angles as design variables, letting the object function meet error minimum between ideal trace and real trace, the solution can be found by MATLAB optimization tool-box, through repeatedly iteration, the best answers can be got. This method is convenient, it provide an efficient method for trace synthesis of multiple-bar.This thesis builds the models by using ADAMS and Simmechanics tool-box of MATLAB/Simulink according to designed bars, and the parametric model is built in ADAMS environment. It can help customers to modify conveniently. After kinematics simulation, through observing the results, the curves of displacement and velocity and acceleration can be seen directly. After dynamics simulation, the bound force and driving moment of revolute has been got, the results can provide references for selecting prime motor and designing of part structure. Compared to simulation results with these software, the results are similar. Finally, it explores the impact caused by changes of crank radius and phase angle, it can provide preferences for structure and energy parameters designs.
