With increasing enlargement of roadheader's application, people put forward more request to its cutting ability. But the hard vibration during the roadheader working impacts the working efficiency and the stability very serious. So it becomes more and more important to improve roadheader's working efficiency and the stability. The force on cutting head and the vibration about roadheader. The following are the main contents:The paper summery the development of loadheader at home and abroad. The paper dissertate the coal and rock cutting theory. The calculation method about force on a single cutting and roadheader had been found according the recording in relation literature and the summery of the experience formulation. The 3D model had been finished by CAD software SolidWorks. The force change on transverse roadheader cutting head was simulated by ADAMS during the working. Some simulation data was gotten and it was analysised and compared.The paper dissertate the overall force about roadheader, built the vibration math model by Lagrange formulation. Simplified model of the roadheader was built and an modal analysis was done by it. The vibration change was analysised following time by the data about force change on cutting head acquired beforeAbove mutuality analysis and research provide method and theory reference for improving working efficiency and design and improvement of decreasing vibration of roadheader.
