The Application Of Chinese Folk Toy's Characteristics In Joyful Product Design

This thesis takes the Chinese folk toys as the researching target. The development of the Chinese folk toys is more and more difficult, whereas the joyful product develop more and more faster. The Chinese folk toys belong to Chinese folk arts, it have concernful value for our daily life and product design. We can't make up our folk toys in the single way which just produce toys through the analysis of their origin, development and their present situation. So this thesis put forward a way can bring folk toys into our modern life, that's the way of design joyful product with Chinese folk toys'characteristics .After research the Chinese folk toys more deeply, I divide the Chinese folk toys'characteristics into 2 parts which is folk characteristics and joy characteristics. The folk characteristics is the basement of joy characteristics. In the progress of discuss the joy characteristics, I expatiated on the joy theory. So I import the joyful product, analysis the cause of the difference status between the Chinese folk toys and joyful product next. Then I analysis the feasibility of design design joyful product with Chinese folk toys'characteristics . This thesis also summarize the method and point in the design progress to make it more reliable and professional. This thesis'fundamentality objective is to inheritance and innovation the Chinese folk toys, bring the traditional toys culture to modern society by combine folk toys with joyful production.
