The major reservoir of shengtuo oil field attribute to uncompartmentalized positive rhythm reservoir and have severe heterogeneity. High capacity channel develop owing to long-term waterflood development. The injected water break through the base of oil layer. The water cut of oil well fast rise up,the remaining oil is dispersing on plane and lie in the top of heavy layer and barrier interbed layer. The impact of the stimulation treatment of perforations adding and grout off is bad. Hereby, the method of massive chemical water plugging is used to development intrastratal remaining oil and the impact is good in shengtuo oil field, but the effective is low ,only 50%.The main reasons have three sides, fluid production force is bad, the layer is sand flow after plugging, plugging is short of, so the effect of oil well chemical water plugging is seriously influenced. Therefore, the distribution law of the remaining oil in heavy layer is researched and the affects of the reservoir permeability divergence, perforation penetration, interlayer, fault to the distribution law of the remaining oil in heavy layer are analyzed, by the visualization physical modeling experiment. And the blocking agent for the massive deep water plugging is developed under the reservoir characters of Shengtuo oilfield, and the reply pattern of the blocking agent in different positions is generated by the evaluation of the against washing ability and the blocking ability gotten in the core experiment. At the same time, the alternation laws of the fluid production ability after the blocking and the sand production are generated from the aspects of reservoir characters, blocking design and the construction situation according to the several year water blocking effects of Shengtuo oilfield, accordingly the chemical water plugging technology in this oilfield is optimized and the chemical water plugging efficiency is further improved. The study presents an important value to the development of the remaining oil of heavy layers in Shengtuo oil field.
