Sintering process is a dynamic system with long circuit, multivariable and complex mechanism. Along with the increasing of measure equipment, the probability of abnormity that happened becomes great, which debases the operating rate and has an influence on the quantity and quality of sinter. In order to decrease the cease-operation rate and stabilize the processing, an expert system for diagnosing abnormal status of sintering process has been designed and developed, whose aim is to diagnose the whole sintering process.In this paper, on the basis of analyzing the abnormity of the sintering process, and by the means of diagnosis fundamental and method, the expert system as the diagnosis method is adopted. The system diagnoses the abnormal status of sintering process by managing characteristic parameters with fuzzy technique and diagnosis knowledge.The system is divided into four modules: whole sintering process subsystem, proportioning and blending subsystem, feeding and ignition subsystem, sintering process subsystem. According to the specialty of the diagnosis and the sintering process, the production rule method and the forwarded inference are presented.The expert system for diagnosing abnormal status has been developed with Visual Studio.Net, Matlab and ADO on windows platform. The application shows that the accuracy rate of the system is over 95%. The user can inquire about the abnormity information, real-time data, and consummate the knowledge base by modifying or adding knowledge on system interface.The software has the trait of friendly interface, complete functions and convenient operation. It is not only expanding the sintering diagnosis scope, but also providing a framework for future. |
