With the improvement of living and cultural standards, more and more people pay more on cosmetics .Cosmetics which contain natural active compositon has many advantages,such as excellent effect,less side effect and security, so it's more and more popular. Study on natural active compositon become an important part of cosmetics industry. Ellagic acid and rose water play an important role in wide range of applications on daily cosmetics, such as anti-oxidation, anti-aging, anti-UV, whitening and moisturizing, and other multi-effects. In this paper, ellagic acid and water rose were systematic studied .We dicussed ways to enhance ellagic acid solubility and prepared cosmetics that contain rose water.In one hand, the solution abilities of ellagic acid in some commonly used organic solvents were tested, which provides a certain experimental basis. The solutilities of ellagic acid of DMSO and PEG400, which are commonly used in cosmetics, are much higher. They are 7.14 mg / mL and 1.36 mg / mL, respectively.Inclusion complex of ellagic acid withβ-cyclodextin was prepare and its water-solubility was tested. The inclusion complex was prepared by the liquid-phase method in aqueous solution. The technique of preparation was optimized by orthogonal design .The optimal conditions of preparation are described as followes: ellagic acid toβ-cyclodextrin molar ratio should be 1:6, stirring speed should be 500 r/ min, stirring time should be 5 h, mixing temperature should be 50℃. The water-solubility of inclusion complex was 3.1 times than that of EA.In mushroom tyrosinase experiment, ellagic acid inhibition of tyrosinase IC50 value is 50μg /mL. Inhibition of tyrosinase of ellagic acid compounded with arbutin, Vc, soy isoflavones and Cortex Mori extract were tested, the experimental results showed that the compound practical inhibition rate were lower than the theoretical's.In another hand, skin tonic containing rose water were designed and optimized by orthogonal tests. Two steady and refined formulations were prepared according to stability tests, organoleptic tests by volunteer and microbial challenge experiments. Rose-water moisture ingredients include: glycerin, hyaluronic acid, serine, allantoin, ethanol, rose water, kathon CG; Rose water-cool moisture ingredients include: lemon oil, aloe, citric acid, citric acid sodium, ethanol, kathon CG, rose water. The moisturizing efficiency of skin tonic containing rose water was evaluated by Machines .As a result, in four hours, moisture content of cuticle skin and elasticity of Skin tonic is higher than pure water and the market product, water loss rate of skin tonic is lower than that of pure rose water and market product. The result indicated that skin tonic containing rose water has a good moisturizing effect.Rose skin care gel was designed and optimized by orthogonal tests. A steady and refined formulations were prepared according to stability tests, organoleptic tests by volunteer. Ingredients of formulation are as follows: hyaluronic acid, aloe powder, water-soluble Huohuo Ba oil, natural vitality of GC-1800, amino acid whitening agent ATB-2600, Aristoflex AVC, IPBC-II, rose water. The skin care gel without pigment, alcohol and surfactant and essence, more security in daily life.
