Ellagic acid is a kind of natural polyphenolic compounds, widely distributing in various nuts and baccas, which is a dimeric ramification of gallic acid, polyphenolic lactone. Ellagic acid have been associated with anticancer, antivirus, Anti-Oxidant and advancedwhitening activities. In recent years, the attention to ellagic acid and application of ellagic acid are much more than ever. This study was to researche a new technique based on oxidations of gallic tannic acid into ellagic acid. The work is described as follow:1ã€The existing method of oxidations of gallic tannic acid into ellagic acid was optimized. The optimum process of reaction was selected with investigating the Sodium Bicarbonate Quantity, Tannin Concentration,pH and reaction times. Optimum reaction condition was determined as follows: Na2CO3as additive was got rid of, tannin concentration was10%, pH was kept in8.5by feeding NaOH online and reaction times was24hour.The content of ellagic acid reached above70%and yield gained48.46%.2ã€A new method for purification of ellagic acid has been developed. The character of ellagic acid that ellagic acid can be dissolved in alkalescent liquid and separated out in acidic liquid contributed to the method. This study investigated the effect of EA Concentration, NaOH Solution Concentration, pH, HCL Concentration and washing times to product. Optimum condition was determined. Ellagic acid was yellow and it’s purity reached95%.3ã€Several experimental project has been attempted to deal with the waste liquid produced by manufacturing process of ellagic acid. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of waste liquid was tried to determine the component. Diverse method was developed to decrease the COD and chroma of waste liquid in order to reach the standard to let.4ã€Technics of ellagic acid manufactured by tannin in Laboratory was magnified to achieve industrialization. The equipment required and important matter need to pay attention were confirmed but a significant problem about filtration of ellagic acid come forth.5ã€The problem of filtration of ellagic acid was solved by adjust pH of ellagic acid serosity to acidity.
