Study On NC Programming System Of Hydraulic Manifold Blocks

In order to satisfy the needs of customization of CNC manufacturing and decreasing cost of corporation, and improve efficiency and correctness of Hydraulic Manifold Blocks (HMB) CNC programming, a prototype software system of NC programming of HMB is studied in this thesis. The machining mapping and NC code mapping of single feature are realized by adopted manufacturing oriented feature mapping technologies which are on basis of feature technologies. Then the whole features are planned, and machining steps are recombined and arranged. At last the NC codes are automatically generated. The correctness and feasibility of NC programming system of HMB are illustrated with an instance. The main contents of the thesis are as follows:1. The current status and development trendency of technologies of NC manufacturing and programming are summarized. Then the theories and methods of design and manufacturing of HMB are analyzed. Finally the structure and main contents of this thesis are given.2. Some key technology problems of NC programming of HMB are studied, including integration technology of CAD/CAPP/CAM, design for manufacturing, feature definition and class, feature mapping etc.3. The NC machining process of HMB is researched, based on analysis of characteristics of design and manufacturing of HMB, including design of manufanturing process of HMB hole series and NC programming method of hole series features.4. Based on aforementioned theories, methods and key technologies research, the development processes of prototype software of NC programming system of HMB are systematically introduced. The NC codes of HMB are automatically generated through pick-up of hole feature, machining mapping and code mapping, recombining and sequencing of machining steps of the whole features.5. The running environment of the NC programming system of HMB is introduced, and the correctness and feasibility of NC programming system of HMB are illustrated with an instance.
