With the rapid development of forging technology, hydraulic press is using in manyindustries, it promotes the development of the national economy. But with the using ofhydraulic forging machine, the hydraulic system failures are occurred frequently, and theharm of hydraulic system failures is great. When leakage occurs, it will produce a varietyof leakage information, which includes useful information and useless information. Howto find useful information from the huge information in a timely and effective manner isimportant, it has become the research focus of feature extraction. Basing on the featureextraction method of previous research, this paper proposes a new feature extractionmethod that based on the double inverse limit space. The specific contents are as follows:Firstly, the relevant definitions of topological space and the leakage of informationspace are researched. The location of the leakage that may occur in the forging hydraulicsystem and the changes of the main features of the parameters are analyzed. Couplingmethod of leakage characteristic parameters, the calculation of the amount of informationin a collection of objects, the representation of the four elements of the hydraulic systemleakage information space, and the principles of topology metric space and isomorphismare studied.Secondly, the construction method of the double inverse limit space, the relateddefinitions of double inverse limit space and related definitions of inverse limit space isstudied. The feature extraction of hydraulic system leakage include leakage detection andleakage location, the two aspects are both discussed. Among them, including thenormalization method of characteristic parameter, the coupling method of characteristicparameter, the computing method of equicontinuity coefficient of double inverse limitspace, the computing method of topology transfer coefficient of double inverse limit space,the judgment methods of equicontinuity and the judgment methods of topology transferalso are researched.Finally, this paper collected leakage information under different leakage diameters bythe establishment of the bi-directional hydraulic cylinders, in which one is used as the experimental cylinder, the another is used as reference cylinder.The characteristics ofcollected leakage information will be extracted by the method of this paper proposed. Andthe collected characteristic parameters are analyzed by the MATLAB software. Theamplitude variation of the coupling characteristics and the amount of coupling parametersare analyzed under different circumstances. Topological transitivity and equicontinuity ofdouble inverse limit space are analyzed. The experimental results are against with theanalysis results, and if the two results are equal, the feasibility of the method can beverified.
