| Biology ceramic is more and more wisely used in dental finishing. However, in the course of abrasive finishing, the grinding force on the cutting area is very complex because ceramic is a kind of fragile material. Plenty of time and money will be consumed by the common ways to mesure the grinding force through the experiments. For this reason, the following reseach with the material of feldspar porcelain Vita Mark II has accomplished. The research background and significance of this papert are illustrated, the related technique and research status in this field are summarized, also the mechanics and methods of ceramica are introduced, and then the major reseach contents of this paper is put forward. The normal and tangential grinding force on the experimental material is measured with the grinding parameters as input variables through the grinding experiment on Vita Mark II. The influential rules among the parameters is achieved by analysing the relationship between the rejection rate, the grinding speed and the maximum undeformed chip thickness and the normal grinding force, the tangential grinding force ,the force rate ,etc. The predicted model of grinding force generated in the experimental material is constructed by the finite element methods according to the experimental conditions. The normal grinding force, the tangential grinding force and the resultant force in the grinding area are predicted. After the comparison between the predicted result and the experimental result, the predicted model is revised, and then the model conforming to reality is obtainedwill. The result of the research provides the dentists with on referrence in operating the dental abrasive finishing with Vita Mark II and a great reference value. It also establishes a good foundation for further study and application in this field. |
