Opto-electronic sensor is becoming more important both in industry and in daily life. Imaging sensor is extensive used for the untouched measurement. The linear CCD (Charge Coupled Device) is one of the most widely used imaging sensor because of its high resolution, high-sensitivity, self-scanned character and cramped construction. For example, it is widely used for the linear dimension measurement especially for the on-line detection and the high-accuracy survey. Although the linear CCD has high degree of accuracy, the measurement range is severely limited by the size and structure of the device. If you want to enlarge the measurement range, you have to reduce the precision. That is to say, there is a contradiction between the measurement range and the precision. The new method on the measurement of glass cube in this article settles the contradiction between the measurement range and the precision. This method makes sure the high precision under the condition of the large measurement range. This system can measure every parameter of the quartz glass cube in a precision of 0.1mm。...
