The Development Of Biyuan Soft Capsules

To meet the needs of Traditional Chinese Medicine Modernization and introduce Chinese Medicine to the world, we need not only to change its unitary status of one form , develop more forms than other Pill of Chinese Medicine, but also to conduct quantitative analysis of the major medicine components to control its qualities.The biyuan tablets comes from the Chinese health ministry standard. It is being widely used and brings more accurate effects. Suitable dosage especially middle dosage of Biyuan tablets can treat chronic rhinitis and Sinusitis effectively.In this research, under the guidance of the traditional Chinese medicinal theory and practice, orthogonal method was designed to select the extraction procedure of all drug components to get the best one,then work out new form of Traditional Chinese Medicine一Soft Capsules.Quantitative analysis was carried out on chlorogenic acid and mollugin by HPLC, method to ensure quality control of Biyuan soft capsules. The method was proved to be simple, precise and reproduciable. It is especially practicable for rapid analysis in production process. Its stability was also investigated. Using eliminating inflammation as the drug efficacy standard, pharmacological experiments were done to compare the drug efficacy among Biyuan soft capsules,capsules and tablet, providing the drug efficacy and quality control evaluation standards for the research of biyuan new drug form in the future.
