In spite of the fact that many researches have been made for the treatment process of petroleum,conventional physics,physical chemistry, chemistryand electrochemical methods could not make good effect,more dispose should be done.The biological method has many advantages such as low investment,low running cost,low dissipation of energy,small secondary pollution and so on.Aiming at the low concentration wastewater contaminated with leakage oil from petroleum exploitation and transportation,biodegradation was used in this article.High efficient bacteria strains were screened from the soil contaminated by petroleum at first.And different kinds of factors effecting the degradation rate were studied.The results repoted as follows:(1)A bacterial named W-1 which can highly degrade petroleum hydrocarbon have been obtained by enriching,screening,acclimatizing the strains in soil which contaminated by petroleum hydrocarbon.The strain W-1 was identefed Bacillus through experiments on colony, individual and physiologic.(2)After the experimentation,we have the best enxironmental conditions for the growth of W-1 as follows:33℃,170.0rpm,pH7.0~7.5. (3)It shows that,carbamide is the best nitrogen source,while the degradation rate with some nitrogen source is obviously high than that without any nitrogen source,When W-1 is 18 huors old,the inoculation is 6%,pH is between 6.4 and 7.4,and the concentration of Triton X-100 is 0.25%,the degradation rate can reach up to more than 94%after 24 hours.
