With the fast development of economy, science and culture nowadays, new materials in fashion are emerge in an endless stream. The aesthetic standard of traditional fashion design is broken which is simple. the style of fashion and design ideas become diversify day by day. Under the background that contemporary images spread and culture become diversify, creation are more and more important in fashion design, It raised an new claim of design technique to designers. Fashion design is a subject that includes plastic ,materials and colour, materials ,as one of measures used by fashion designers to express ideas, play an important part in fashion design . So, the present paper seeks to do research into methods of fashion design, which from the angle of materials creation.I use the angle of the importance of materials in fashion design, to start my discourse on the methods of fashion design. Last, I combine my discuss with graduation works to express my view further.
