Abstract/Summary:
In this paper, six new extended structural compounds based on polyoxometalates have been synthesized by utilizing metal ions and its organic chelating or bridging N-donor ligands complexes. All these compounds have been structurally characterized by elemental analyses, IR, XPS, TG and single crystal X-ray diffractions. The study on synthetic conditions and rules for these new compounds and the exploration of relationships between structures and properties for these new compounds are also carried out.1. Three functionalized extended structural compounds have been prepared by using Keggin-type polyanions as building blocks and K-gly or Cu-gly complexes as linkers with regular methods: { K2(HGly)2[SiW12O40]}·9H2O 1, { K3HGly [SiW12O40]}·6H2O 2, {K3H2[Cu(Gly)2]3BW12O40}·10H2O 3 (Gly = glycine).2.Three new entangled compounds have been prepared by using [P4Mo6O31]n-,[BW12O40]5- and [MoVW5O19]3- polyanions as building blocks and Cu-bpy complexes as linkers with hydrothermal methods: [CuI5 (bpy)5(H2O)2][[CuII(H2O)3]2CuII[P4MoV6O25(OH)6]2]·H3O+·2H2O 4 [(bpy)7CuI7Cl2(BW12O40)]·1H2O 5 [(bpy)6CuI6Cl3(MoVW5O19)] 6 (bpy = 4,4'-bipyridine).
