Sodium 3,5,6-trichloropyridin-2-ol is an important chemical material ,chelating floating agent of choiceness performance, main intermediate for synthesizing O-O-diethyl-O-3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphorothioate and O-O-dimethyl-O-3,5,6 - trichloro-2-pyridyl phosphorothioate.The method for producing trichloropyridinol sodium include pyridine route,acry-lic acid way,benzene trichloroacetate and trichloroacetyl chloride way etc.The thesis summarize diversified method for producing trichloropyridinol sodium and their advantages and disadvantages,adopt branch synthesis with trichloroacetyl chloride. This method prepares sodium 3,5,6-trichloropyridin-2-ol through the steps of addition, cyclization, aromatization by using trichloroacteyl chloride and acrylonitrile. Addition, cyclization, aromatization reaction are operated in different retorts.In the second, introduce the mechanism of the methods of pyridine and trichloro acetyl chloride,especially the mechanism of the method of trichloroacetyl chloride. It is important to find out the general characteristic and rule.Finally, the factors influencing the yield such as the quantity of catalyst, the ratio of raw, reaction temperature, the callback of catalyst ,raw and solvent, temperature of aromatization, ect, were studied. The optimal reaction condition was determined by orthogonal tests and confirmed by repeat experiments. At last, thesis brought forward optional control parameters of technology.The production is obtained under optimal reaction condition and the yield is 73.5 %, The structure of sodium 3,5,6-trichloropyridin-2-ol is identified by infrared spectra (IR), gas chromatogram-mass spectroscopy(GC-MS). The content of sodium trichloropyridinol determined by the High Performance Liquid Chromatogram method is 82%.
