As an important inorganic material, metal tungstate has wide applications in many areas. It can be used as scintillator, laser and a key component in medical equipment.Nanoparticles have better optical, electrical, magnetical and catalytic properties than their bulk counterparts.Nanofilms are of greatest interest to researchers because of their remarkable properties. In this paper, metal tungstate nanoparticles is prepared in hydrothermal system, their stucture and optical property are also studied. Prepared nanoparticles combined with nano-oxide are used later for the preparation of compact nanofilms by dip-coating techniques assisted by collodion.Structure and changing photoluminescent property are subsequently studied in composite nanofilm. The addition of ZnO nanoparticles can improve optical property of tungstate nanofilm.Firstly, tungstate nanoparticles of different sizes and shapes are prepared in hydrothermal system with narrow distribution in diameter.Effect of reacting temperature, duration,PH value and additives on the morphology of productsare also studied.Prepared tungstate nanoparticles are highly crystalised. Some distinctive emission peaks appear in PL spectrum.PL intensity is related to the mophology of nanoparticles. Then tungstate nanoparticles is prepared in hydrothermal system for the preparation of nanofilms by dip-coating techniques assisted by collodion.Morphology, srructure and optical property of tungstate nanofilms are also studied including effect of collodion, heating temperature and duration on the quality of nanofilms. With the addition of tungstate nanoparticles into TiO2 nanofilms, stucture and changing optical property in the composite films are also observed. Finally, ZnO-doped tungstate composite films are prepared and their structural and optical analysis indicate nanofilms are compact ,well-crystalised.PL intensity of composite films has an obvious connection with the content of ZnO nanoparticles.Related curves and simulated equation are figured out.Internal mechanism of photoluminescent change is explored for wider application in other tungstate materials.
