Now, the successive development of domestic and foreign Plow mining, auger mining, heavy liquid mining, thin seam are based on different situation occurs, takeing some effective mining methods have achieved good economic results. But the mining methods above inputs heavily, and its adaptability is not very strong. How to exploit thin seam mining economically is a major technical problem.Through the research of the provinces and municipalities which takes thin seam mining , and through the in-depth study investigation conducted, This thesis considers the most important way to slove the problem of thin seam mining are to give an ideas about thin seam classification ,to study mining techniques of thin seam ,to establish cost model of thin seam and build up economic evaluation model of mining values.This study follows the guiding ideology and principle of the partial and the whole combination of single-factor analysis and synthesis analysis, Quantitative and qualitative combining, liquidating and processing informations of thin seam mining, forms various models of thin seam .It is great guide significance for the coal industry strategic planning, from local to overall,and its application will have significant social and economic benefits.
