| Recently, people are paying more attention to environment protection. According to the State's new standard of emissioning air pollutants for thermal power plants, electric dust collecting equipment hasn't met the requirement for reduceing smoke and dust concentration any more. Therefore, it's not only do the needing for power production to study and develop new-type dust collecting equipment to suit the coal-fired power plant, but also the needing of environment protection. There are the topics discussed in this paper.Bag filter is one of the high efficiency filters in the fields of environmental protection. Applying bag filter to power station in our country is one of the tasks in the power rebuilding in the 21st century. And the condition of the flow field in the bag filter affects the bag filter efficiency.It is to do some studying of flow-field by constructing a set of flow field measuring system with a scale bag filter model by 1:1 and using stream line to get the status of the bag filter. The gas field distribution is one of the key factors for efficient of dust collecting equipment and life of the bag. To ensure the consistent of experimental and numerical results, there is a deep research made on airflow distribution of the equipment and the simulation with fluent code. Therefor, it can apply the fluent code to simulate an amount of experiments, which will help to optimize the structure parametres, improve the efficiency, decrease the resistance, protect the bag and reduce the running cost. So it will decrease many experiments by numerical simulation and save great deal of manpower, materials and money.In this paper, the characteristics of flow field in the bag filter are come from the experiment testing. The main content includes the following two aspects, the first is to search a testing method as the reference for further research, and the second is to find the connection among parameters after analysed the factors of the experiment testing. And then, it is also to study the different typical models by using numerical simulation to get the optimization of the characteristics of bag filter flow field. The result of this study will be useful to optimize the structure parameters of bag filter, improve the efficiency and reliability and enhance the bag filter benefits for environment, society and economy. |
