| Nowadays, we all know that an enterprise has three sources of profit. The first comes from the raw and processed material; the second comes from labor force. The third source of profit is logistics.By studying and discussing the theories of modern logistics management, supply chain management and business process reengineering, the paper suggest that Aeolus Tyre Co., LTD should build up the management information system on the logistics combined with their own characteristics.The dissertation is divided into five chapters to analyze and research the topics. The detail contents of the dissertation are summarized as follows:Chapter one discusses the background, purpose, contents and achievement of the study. Chapter two introduces all kinds of theories that related to logistics management. Such as the theory of supply chain management, logistics management and business process reengineering. Chapter three discusses the background, current status of the logistics of tire industry in China. It points out the trouble about the logistics of Aeolus Tyre Co. LTD. Chapter four introduces how to rebuild the company structure and logistics process by using the theory and method of business process reengineering. Chapter five gives the advice and analyze on how to design a logistics management information system. The software system has many major function subsystems. Such as Supplier Management subsystem, Purchase Management subsystem, Storage Management subsystem, Logistics Centre Control subsystem, Production Management subsystem and so on. |
