Research And Development Of The ERP System For Volume-produce Foundry Enterprise

Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) is an enterprise resources management system, which combines with enterprise management theories, operation flow and basic data. Along with the rapid development of the information techlonogy, foundry field begins to lay out on the table from the back. On the condition of today's furious competition, foundry enterprise must combine all kinds of the resources, reduce the waste, improve the efficiency, enhance the management level roundly, and finally gain the predominance. Volume-produce foundry enterprise ERP system developed by PowerBuilder 9.0, SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft XML 4.0, covered ERP basic theory and the volume-produce foundry enterprises'characteristic. It can consummate enterprises'management, enhance the manufacture efficiency, realize the digital management, increase enterprises'benefit.This article describes the full development process of volume-produce foundry enterprise ERP system, which includes feasibility analysis, requirement analysis, frame design, database design and detailed design. In the frame design, the system is divided into order form management, production management, materials management, product management and system maintenance management based on the theory of Process Oriented Progranmming and the enterprises'demand. In the detailed design, a uniform design mode and development templates are set up by using some software development technologies such as the theory of data management, the theory of Object Oriented Programming, inherit, user events, modularization, etc. Under the uniform design mode and development templates, several basic modules are developed. Practice proved that the development technology is efficient, because it not only unifies the software interface and operation, but also reduces the workload of development.At last, this article also gives an example of developed ERP system for the XIZHU corperation in Wuxi, analyses that how about the enterprise of foundry industry to develop ERP system in real example.
