Springback is an inevitable physical phenomenon in the metal sheet elastic and plastic forming. The springback problem, which make the shape and dimension diverge from design requirements, direct affects the quality of forming product, the assembly quality and the final product performance. To automobile panel, the springback will bring obvious warp or odds gap which harm aesthetic feeling enormously. How to predict the shape of products after forming, and design the required punch-die surface to compensate springback is a difficult problem in the metal sheet forming industry. In our country, the study about springback is staying at experimental stage now. There is a vacancy that the method to direct production about control and compensate springback now. It is essential for working out springback problem to use numerical methods to predict the springback of complex products. Finite element method (FEM) is a widely used numerical method in sheet forming simulation in these years. The accuracy of springback prediction is not satisfactory because of the limitations of simulation software and the complexity of springback problem and the springback prediction result is an affected by many factors. In order to making the simulation springback data to use in punch-die of production directly, the deep research on the springback is still necessary.Focusing on some influencing factors of predict the springback, this paper simulate springback of automobile panel and apply the technology. The aim of study is verify the method is reliable by the springback data of tri-linear coordinates measuring products and find out a new method of springback prediction.
