In view of the inlet sewage of Handan east wastewater treatment plant, the influence on the CEPT processing effect of temperature, pH, and basic aluminum chloride, iron sulfate, ferrous sulfate, polyacrylamide and so on alone and the combination used as the experimental flocculating agents has been studied in this article. In view of the different processing request, suitable flocculating agents and craft parameters are proposed. The research discovered that basic aluminum chloride is the best flocculating agent to get rid of COD,SS in the city wastewater. To a city sewage treatment plant taking the reuse water as its goal, adding iron sulfate has the most obvious effect. Inorganic flocculating agent working with organic flocculating agent can remarkably enhance the effluent quality. When adding iron sulfate, we add PAM 0.5mg/L at the same time, it can improve the removal of COD,SS and phosphorus. The effect of temperature and pH to iron sulfate is small, and the removal rate of COD, SS and phosphorus can be ensured. But the effect of temperature and pH to basic aluminum chloride is big when temperature is low, thus the outflow quality is poor. The change of pH can greatly affect the removal rate of SS and the removal effect is the best when pH is 6.
